Section one: If you saw this image on another website, or reached it from a hyperlink If you saw this image anywhere other than at andrewtaylor.keenspace.com, then you cannot view the image. Someone is stealing KeenSpace’s bandwidth, and if you want to see the image, browse to it in my Archive. You may want to inform the webmaster of whatever site you saw the image at. Section two: If you saw this image on your own website If you saw this image on your own website, then you are stealing KeenSpace’s bandwidth, and everyone who visits your site will see the ‘If you can read this’ image, even if you checked your site and it was definitely showing the right image then. That’s because your computer had it in its cache. You should remove the image from your website and link to the appropriate page of the Archive. Section three: If you saw this image on andrewtaylor.keenspace.com If you went to andrewtaylor.keenspace.com and saw the ugly version with that image pasted all over it where plainly there should be comics, then that means you are using Norton Internet Security (or a similar firewall program). Norton Internet Security, for some stupidly paranoid reason, has got it into it’s feeble electronic brain that telling keenspace.com that you’ve visited keenspace.com (while you’re downloading webpages from keenspace.com) is some kind of major threat to your privacy and possibly your human rights, and blocks it. Unfortunately KeenSpace can’t tell this from someone leeching their bandwidth, so blocks images. To fix it, you have to go into your privacy controls, and click the “advanced” tab. Then click “add site” and set “information about visited sites” to ‘permit’, overriding the default control. If you’re unsure about any of this then ask whoever set up your firewall, or e-mail me and try to catch me on MSN sometime. Obviously if you’re running a different programme, or a different version of Norton, then your options may have a slightly different name, but they will be there someplace.
